| Hey I’m Britt, I’m a senior this year with hopes of entering pharmacy school next fall. I am a biochemistry major and am currently doing research with anticancer drugs. And yes I do realize that makes me a chemistry nerd…trust me my teammates and coaches will never let me forget it either. I have also thrown javelin for three years on the track team. Basketball has always been my passion but in recent years I have also developed a love for cooking, especially desserts, which my roommates and boyfriend seem to enjoy as well. I’ve been involved with the Big Brother Big Sister organization for a year and it has been one of the best experiences of my life. I know my teammate and roommate of 4 years, Leah McAlister, would not let me live it down if I didn’t include something about my “mild obsession” with penguins. And no I have no idea why I love them so much but I do. I never leave for a road trip without my penguin pillow pet and I’m proud of it (even if O’Neisha continually tries to steal it).
